Though Josuma is a well-known roaster and importer of fine specialty coffees from India, it is our flagship coffee—Malabar Gold® Premium European Espresso—that most people identify with the Josuma name. One of our primary missions is to educate coffee retailers and consumers about the myriad elements that go into blending, roasting, and preparing a quality espresso. It's both difficult and labor-intensive—it requires equal parts knowledge, patience, and attention to detail. Perhaps that's why most North American consumers have never tasted a good espresso, and why Malabar Gold has attracted such attention among espresso connoisseurs.
