Malabar Gold®

Malabar Gold® is patterned after European espressos, settling on a roasting style between those of Northern and Central Italy. This blend is particularly noteworthy for its richness, velvety texture, and persistence of crema.

Malabar Gold®, the result of more than three years of development and testing, is a sweet, smooth, mellow espresso with plenty of body. It is a low-acid blend with no unpleasant bitterness and not even a hint of sourness. Its aroma and fragrance are pleasant and distinguishing, and its taste is unique and outstanding. Its aftertaste is long lasting and memorable.

Malabar Gold® produces crema with the right tinge of reddish-brown color. The crema is rich, velvety, and plentiful, and features the aroma and fragrance of the freshly ground coffee captured within. Malabar Gold's® crema is also astonishingly persistent, lasting more than 20 minutes before it breaks in the middle to reveal the dark brew underneath.

Malabar Gold® is available as both a roasted coffee and a pre-blended ready-to-roast green coffee.

The roasted version of Malabar Gold® is roasted to order and shipped within 24 hours of roasting. Our roasted coffee is typically packaged in 5-pound, one-way valve bags. To ensure freshness, we always stamp the roast date on the bag. Freshness is extremely important, so we recommend that you purchase only a week's supply at a time. The minimum order for each coffee is 10 pounds. In return for this modest minimum, we ask that payment accompany your order. You may also charge your purchase to MasterCard, Visa, or American Express.

As an exception, individual coffee connoisseurs (not businesses) may order as little as 5 pounds of roasted Malabar Gold®, which is packaged in 5-pound, one-way valve bags.
